This is one of the photographs I took whilst visiting my patch for the first time at Baiter Park in Poole. This photo was taken to show one of the positive sides to living in the area. I was given a list of the type of photographs to take in my patch which I had to follow for the task.

My patch will be based in Baiter Park and Poole Old Town for the length of the photojournalism course, I think it’s a great place to have as there are always many photo opportunities around the area. There are also many events that take place here during the Spring/Summer season.

Photograph taken while exploring the many quirky and interesting vintage shops in Pokesdown, Bournemouth, as part of our first assignment in our patches.

The simple use of colour in the window display of “What Alice Found”  makes the shop stand out from the rest.
